As a cricket coach, retaining players beyond a single term can be challenging. Whether it’s the lure of trying different coaches or the seasonal nature of cricket, keeping your roster full and loyal requires more than just delivering great sessions. It’s about building long-term relationships with both players and their parents.
So, how can you do that?
- Personalised Feedback: Players thrive when they know they’re improving. By offering individual performance analysis and tracking progress, you can give players a tangible sense of growth. When players (and their parents) see measurable improvement, they are more likely to stay committed to your coaching for the long term.
- Data-Driven Progress: Use video analysis and data to break down a player’s game, showing them exactly where they’re improving and what still needs work. With clear, visual evidence of their development, players feel invested in their journey, and parents feel they’re getting value for money.
- Continuous Engagement: Keeping players engaged outside of practice is critical. Send regular updates to players and parents with personalized stats, videos, and training tips to keep them excited about their progression.
The Result?
You’re not just coaching a player; you’re building a long-term relationship, ensuring they continue under your guidance season after season.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
